    Reflective dialogue

    Creative rhythm-building

    Project support & accountability

    Gentle challenge & imaginative expansion

Manuscript feedback / extended project support available by request

This is a collaborative space to develop your voice, spark new ideas, and create from a place of authenticity rather than pressure.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Not at all. You don’t need any art skills. Creative Arts Therapy and Creative Mentoring use imagination, image, movement, story, and metaphor in simple, accessible ways. Curiosity is more important than artistic ability.

  • Sessions are tailored to you. We may explore movement, image-making, writing, metaphor, or simple expressive processes, or we may stay mostly in conversation if that’s what feels right. Creative Arts Therapy is gentle, relational, trauma-informed, and responsive to your pace.

  • Sessions take place via Zoom. You’ll receive a link when you book. You’re welcome to bring any creative materials you have at home, or we can work entirely with conversation, imagination, and objects around you.

  • Creative Mentoring focuses on your creative practice: writing, projects, artistic process, momentum, and voice.

Creative Arts Therapy is a therapeutic space for exploring identity, belonging, emotion, embodiment, relationships, and life transitions.

Some people move between the two depending on what they need.

  • Absolutely. My therapy practice is queer-affirming and especially welcoming to LGBTQ+ and gender-expansive clients, but you don’t need to be queer to work with me. If you’re drawn to expressive, spacious, relational therapy, you’re welcome here.

  • Yes. I offer relationally supportive, non-judgmental therapy for people in ENM, polyamorous, or non-traditional relationship constellations. You’re welcome to bring the full complexity of your relational world.

  • I work with therapists, creative arts therapists, counsellors, educators, facilitators, support workers, and community practitioners. Supervision can focus on ethics, reflective practice, cultural humility, identity, boundaries, or complex client work.

  • Not yet. If your workplace requires ANZACATA-accredited supervision, please check their policy. Many practitioners choose multiple supervisors (one clinical, one creative/reflective) and my support fits well as the latter.

  • Most sessions are online. I offer limited in-person sessions in Whāingaroa/Raglan.

  • Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged at the full rate, except in unavoidable emergencies.

  • Yes. Sliding scale options are available for Creative Arts Therapy sessions, especially for students or low-income clients.

  • Whatever you already have at home is perfect: paper, pens, objects, textures, colours, movement space, or simply your imagination. There is no right or wrong way to engage.

  • At this time, I work with adults aged 18+.
